No not yet. Its out on a couple of realy small carriers. Not for verizon yet. Im hoping that it will be released by the end of november, maybe earlier.

but you are not running the "verizon approved" version, that has not been released yet. You can get it on your blackberry, but Im just gonna wait to verizon releases it.

The VZW data tech told me to try BB's website for the update. He said if BB puts it out, it was ok for me to use it. But after a few attempts to load it, it said I had the latest version. I've got 4.3. VZW's sites latest is 4.3 too. What am I doing wrong? Need some help here fellas...

You need to go to progam files, common files, research in motion, then app loader and delete the file named vendor.xml then hook up your BB to the desktop software and it should prompt you to update.

Be careful here. I work with several people who downloaded 4.5 from the BlackBerry website and they now have Curve paperweights - the software hosed the phone. VZW Tech Support said there's nothing they can do because they installed unsupported/untested software - even if it came from BlackBerry.
Best thing to do is wait. It won't be long. We have over 400 BlackBerry devices in my organization and the government rep assigned to our acct said the SW will be out in a couple of weeks, tops.

My QA rep for my area (you gotta love Outlook sometimes) let me know that they're aiming for release this month. Sometime in mid-october...?
