Outlook and HTC Touch
I am using active sync on my device to wirelessly connect and update with my exchange server. I get all the emails that i need except the ones that i have rules set for. When an email comes in that has a rule to go to a sub folder it will not update to the device. Is this common or is there a setting that i need to change or is this fixed with 6.1

Look at the settings on Pocket Outlook on your phone. By default it only synchronized your Inbox. Somewhere in the settings you can choose other folders to also synchronize. I would think if you choose all your other folders that mail arrives to then you should get a notification. Mine all goes to the inbox so I'm not too sure. I do have my other folders set to stay in snyc though.

I have tried that i have looked through every option that the device offers in the ActiveSync application as well as the web based exchange log in. I just find it odd that the Wireless Sync app would allow this and then Active Sync not. But the thing about wireless sync and a corp exchange server is that it boggs the heck out of the device. I have the HTC touch also. You need to go into Outlook on the device into the Inbox. Click Menu, then click tools, then click Manage Folders, then expand your Inbox to see the subfolders and check the folders you want to synchronize. They have to be subfolders of your inbox, if you are using public folders I don't think it works. I have rules set up to move certain messages to different and it works for me. However, you will not get an alert that you have a new message in a subfolder as it will only alert you to new messages in your Inbox.
