Rhapsody subscription

Can somebody tell me if you need to subscribe to the vcast version of rhapsody to play subscription music on your phone? I already subscribe to rhapsody on the go and use it for my mp3 player. Will that also work with a phone?

Your phone can be one of the three authorized devices, so the answer would be that your phone should work just fine whether you do the subscription through Rhapsody or VZW.

I have the same setup as you do. It won't work without using the VCAST version. I spent nearly an hour back and forth with Rhapsody a few nights ago. They only support like five cell phones ... the VZW version is needed to use. However if you don't have a VCAST phone, I have the Pearl, you're out of luck anyway.

zx100. Can't you uses Rhapsody to download the music and then use Roxio media to sync it with the Blackberry from the computer? I have the Curve and sync Itunes with it now. Just curious? I was going to get the Rhapsody service by itself without going through Verizon.
