Dropped The Same Call 10 Times Between Chattanooga and Myrtle Beach
Hey AvgJoe, I have a redial button too, and I know how to use it!
I hope this shows all of you once and for all why Verizon is a waste of your money. I know it has me.

Joe is with At&t, not Verizon.
Which begs the question of how this info of 9 dropped calls that he experienced while travelling is a selling point for AT&T. 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

My intention is not to "sell" ATT. ATT blows. But the phones and features, and flexibility over control freak carriers trumps the few dropped calls and crappy handoffs apparently for millions of users.

I'm going to disagree with you. I don't think they blow, just think that CDMA is overall a more reliable technology. The bottom line though is that this is the VERIZON forum, not an AT&T kiosk. If you want to brag about them, do so in their forum. People do look to see what is being posted in other forums, whether they respond or not. It would be highly appreciated by all if you did. See, I like Sprint, but nobody here really cares.
Just because you or I may think no one cares what you or anyone has to say does not serve to reason not to say it anyway.

Nobody gives a **** what you say but yet you keep talking.
Let's assume you speak of the one closest to Myrtle Beach, i.e. Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a distance of about 486 miles. 10 drops in 486 miles must have been annoying. What kind of terrain? Google Earth shows it to be somewhat mountainous.
In my area, nice flat Orange County, CA, with no mountains for 20 miles, AT&T dropped the same call four times...in HALF A MILE...for her friend who was visiting from Texas. I think I'd burn out a calculator if I had to count the number of times AT&T would have dropped on a 486-mile trip.
I tried to applaud AT&T after my wife's friend went back home to Fort Worth and I found out that the call dropped four times, because ...
(continues)
I dropped it getting out my car
I dropped it on the I-26
I dropped it on I-526
I dropped it at the Outlets
I dropped it in Walmart
G'Zone Type-S Rule!!
