but depending when you signed your last contract, it goes down five dollars a month for every month you completed within the two year contract. both lines
If you decide to switch, do yourself a favor and dont port your number over until you have tried it and are sure it works. that will save you the hassle of having to port back over.
I know several folks with Sprint, all seem to be pretty happy with them.
On Verizon, I know I can do the unlimited plans for $150/month...But, A) they aren't truly unlimited (some features are still bolt on, navigation etc) and B) they are 50% more than Sprints unlimited which really is everything unlimted.
Also, I switched our 2 phones to the VZW unlimited plans LAST MONTH when our family plan bill of 3,000 minutes which we hadn't gone over in months came in at well over $500 (our business is seasonal)...I just got the endless spiel about how we can check our usage anytime yadda yadda yadda...In our business we're WAY TOO BUSY to even THINK about "oh, better check our minutes the billing cycle is half w...

$500 for 2 lines on the unlimited plan seems a little high; you may have been charged for pro-rated mins if the price plan change was done "on demand" instead of future dated or backdated.

I am a contractor and I can even do it. Anyone using e*ROES or whatever corporate uses (netstar?) can future or back date.
Given your circumstances, I'd ignore the anti-Sprint hoopla and give it a shot.
My wife only has trouble when we travel to certain areas, but in Orange County, CA, Sprint is quite good.
I wish they were a threat to VZW so my bills would go down!
