can someone please explain to me why CDMA/Verizon is better (coverage) than AT&T? i have an iphone and love it but will be moving to DC and love the fact that verizon covers customers in the metro/subway where my iphone is dead......serious question no jokes.....i want educated here!
...
honestly: it's all the towers in DC. For some reason, VZW holds the market down there. Even in Northern VA. GSM just doesn't penetrate areas like CDMA does. I know, it's way frustrating.
Also, VZW has signal routers for the entire metro station, I believe.
But AT&T is a close second....
just don't go T-Mobile. Horrible in DC.
...
was in dc a few months ago. att works fine. verizon might sound a little better but verizon phones. stay w att
...
I was born and raised in the 7o3 area (moved out of it this past Oct). If metro is a concern for you, then go VZW. VZW is the only carrier that has signals in the metro tunnels.
Otherwise, the coverage is the same. Unless if you want to go to Sterling or Lorton, then I may recommend VZW.

what part? I was Springfield. I miss it.

You do a good job of trying to not sound like a "troll". But this post clearly points out the fact that you are throwing dirt on your own company.
You must not be a good salesperson. You also must not be meeting your quota. Take some extra trainings to step your game up.

I'm do good but my manger
...
Hey out of curiosity, who is your DM?
...
I'll even take just a first name.
...
Nice try, troll. That's just the store manager, not the DM
...
TO BE HONEST DON'T KNOW THE DISTRICT MANGER
...
u dont work for verizon
...
Then you don't really work for the company, it's just that simple. The DM sends out emails to everyone in the district almost daily and visits every retail store at least once a week. If you don't know who he is then you are lying about working for Verizon. I know because I ACTUALLY work in "your" district, and I am sick of reading all your lies.

Question. Are you able to make posts at work?
...
no, but it is my phone. what u going to turn me in?
...
I'm not at work right now, and I don't know if I could or not. I do get onto the site every now and again at work, but I've never tried to actually log on or make a post. Even if I could post, I wouldn't.
...
ok buddy great think what you want. great can we please talk about verizon
...
u have no credibility here everyone knows you don't work for verizon, and most all your post make zero sense. you are just here to troll and start flame wars.
...
There are so many things you have said about the Easton store that aren't true. I'm not going to get into this with you any further. I have proved my point, you don't work there, so anything you have to say is officially irrelevant. It's not like anyone takes what you have to say seriously anyway.
...
he doesn't work for VZW. after looking at his posting rate he does on his "8830" ... definitely not. this guy is imposing as someone he isn't ... definitely should be banned. sounds like another "DiZ B00zT M0BiLe!!!"
...
Not sure if you know, but its spelled MANAGER. You call it a manger every time. A manger is where Jesus was born, not sure what exactly a district manger is.
...
bored at work today? I hope you are making these posts on your PDA - I'm sure your manager will love to see you make these posts on your workstation.
...
on my phone. i know better
...
what phone do you use again?
...
env2. I want to get a smartphone, but then one of my former VZW co-workers said something profound to me -
You should only get those things if they can make money for you, otherwise it's pointless.
...
Good point....lol. But you gotta love our discounts right?
...
It isn't really a CDMA vs. GSM issue. It's a matter of having repeaters in place and overall coverage. I will say that in my experience with CDMA and GSM, CDMA tends to have less disruptions. For example, I have never had this happen with a CDMA phone but with the TMO Sidekick every time that phone was anywhere near a speaker in the car or my house it would transmit a buzzing noise through the speakers.

I hope you got an answer to your question Jedi!
Working in wireless (at the moment) the only real advantage I PERSONNALY (note I said personnally) with GSM is it is much more "User Friendly" if you travel overseas. My opinion, regardless of who sign's my paycheck, whatever works BEST for you, where and when you need it.. that's the way you should go! 🙂

thanks.....i am with at&t now and love my iphone but am moving to washington dc and love the fact that verizon works in the metro/subway.....but i guess i'm only on the subway (underground) for a few minutes each day so i probably won't switch.....i still like verizon though so don't call me a troll!
...
Jedi- It was not you that was called a troll. You had a serious question and it was hijacked by a troll (BB....) In the end, the decision should be based on what works best for you.
