Curve or XV6900
Hey Guys, I am looking into getting the XV6900 or the BB Curve for my 1st PDA/Smartphone on June 1st when I am eligible to upgrade. In your opinions which one would be easier to use for a 1st time user of a smartphone. I will use it for email, internet, SMS & MMS calling and the calender. I am leaning towards the Curve right now just because of the Qwerty keyboard. I have read the reviews and both seem to be excellent phones. Thanks!

It comes down to personal preference. Both can everything you're asking for however, the Curve gives you the option of the $29.99 E-mail and Web plan right now, while the Touch does not at this exact moment in time. If you decide you don't want the data package, you don't get the choice with the Curve but can block it with the Touch. Also, if you plan to use VZNav, the Curve has it, the Touch has not launched it yet. Then it comes down the physical phone. Do you want the virtual or tactile keyboard? What about size?...Only you can decide what phone you want.

Curve. More stable platform.

The 6900 has a freakin loud ringer!! If that's important to you, go for it.
Otherwise, everything else you say you want, you'll find it on the Curve. Then again, I'm a little biased (I'm posting from it right now!)
Curve. Hands down.

I have a curve and love it. And there's no way I could ever use a virtual keyboard. Go for the curve. Blackberry is the leader in smartphones right now....HANDS DOWN!!

I've had them both, kept the curve. Curve, definitely...

Wait until you see the virtual keyboard on the Dare...it's quite nice. Makes the Voyager look like crap 🤣

I guess we will have to just wait and see. Im not really interested in the dare and after the poor reviews on the LG Vu for att, im a little skeptical about this phone.
