Yes..yes it was mean. Don't have to be a "techie nerd" as you say...it is information that is readily available on many many websites, including this one. VCast Mobile TV runs off MediaFlo (from Qualcomm) and requires added hardware (not software) that be added upon creation to receive a signal that is different than cellular radio or data...it is an actual UHF TV signal (channel 55 to be exact). So thus why the smartass comment in response to his, because it wasn't a question that needed to be asked. Doing ones own research will get the answers they want. And you're right, no one is as smart as me, or you, or others...some are smarter some aren't.

I'm never surprised when I read the post to this forum, how the "customer service" reps are rude to the "customers" when we ask simple questions. We "customers" come to this forum because of our obvious lack of technical knowledge. I thought this was the Verizon forum, not the Sprint forum. I came here to receive good "customer service" not rude service. I guess verizon and sprint customer service isn't that different after all Phantom1359.

Funny...I don't remember ever saying that I was 1. Customer Service or 2. an employee of Verizon Wireless. But nice to know that you assume it.

Dude ... this isn't a VZW website. Us posters/users aren't VZW employees. We are just avid cell phone users. Don't expect any "customer service" from us, especially when VZW doesn't pay us. We are just like you, consumers.

Read my post below, gives you some insight on how to watch TV on your phone.

My friend uses Slingbox Mobile for his Windows Mobile device. Of course, the catch is that I believe you need to subscribe to Slingbox at home.

Perhaps there's sa software available for Palm. I spoke to a Palm rep about 2 years ago and he said there is some sort of DVR recording system for your palm that will allow you to stream shows from your PC to your device. I dunno.

Yea...use slingbox...violate your Terms and Conditions of your contract. Smart idea. 🙄

That's no longer in the TOUs for the new data plans. However, using Slingbox gives you a very, very strong chance of going over 5 gigs of data in a month and once that happens, hello massive bill.

Well...you have to remember. That is if you have switched to the new plans (as you are not automatically changed). And excessive use can still be terms for termination.

I think they've completed omitted the excessive use = termination bit from the new M&Ps. If you want to pay for 15 gigs at 50 cents a meg and carry an extra $2,500 on every bill, VZW will now allow you to do so. Bandwidth, schmandwidth. If you want to give us that kind of money for one line we'll probably build a cell site right outside of your house in your honor.

LOL!!!!!!! I haven't fully read that one yet but hey...if you wanna give us that kind of money, means a bigger bonus 🤣

The question has likely been answered however:
If you're referring to the Vcast mobile tv, that phone is unfortunately not compatible (and not likely to be in the future).
