On the left side of the keyboard there is this wonderful key you can press. Look at your keyboard. It is right below the tab key and right above the shift key. It is just to the immediate left of the "a" key. Any guess what key I am talking about?

I believe the guy was asking sincerely, some people write in all caps, and its just humorous that no one addressed the questioned that was asked.

why is that humerous? If someone walks into a bank and screams at the top of their lungs, "What is your cd rates today?" What kind of response will they get? Probably just told to quit screaming...

He may not be the type of person who uses caps to express how he is talking, a lot of people at work do that in their emails just because they write in all caps on paper so they type in all caps, and notice he didn't use any exclamation points. And you are assuming he is screaming.
