i was wondering what everyone thought in the way of which phone is the best. not best in features really, i'm looking more along the lines of signal strenght and call quality. yes features are important to me, but not all that. like i said more important to me is making calls.

for signal strength it would be the Motorola V710 or the Audiovox 9900.

Just my opinion, but those are the 2 phones that I have had the best luck with when it comes to signal strength.

have you had any problems with those phones, such as dropped calls, etc that i should also consider. see i now have sprint pcs and the phone i currently have, has the strongest signal strength ive seen so far with a sprint phone but i get alot of dropped calls.

I think that you will find that signal strength and dropped calls are a directly proportional to your physical location in relation to the locations of your carriers' nearest cellular towers. The more towers your carrier has in your areas of travel, the better.

I've had excellent luck with the Samsung A670. It's a well-built phone, with excellent reception and sound quality. In the six months I've had it, I don't think I ever had a dropped call. It works well in many different cities around the country that I've visited.
On several other phones I tried, including just about all Motorolas, the volume was inadequate. The Samsung has good volume.
Another good phone is the LG 7000. I have friends who use it, and the volume is great, as well as call clarity.

Get the V710 if you absolutely need fully functional Bluetooth, and want a great camera.

Hurry while supplies last...

I tend to think Samsung's pretty much perfected the art of building CDMA handsets.
