Voyager Order Question
I went into my local friendly Verizon Wireless store yesterday to upgrade using my NE2, and, as expected, they were out of the Voyager so I had to order it. However, I am alarmed at 1 thing:
THEY TOLD ME I MAY NOT SEE THE VOYAGER THAT I ORDERED UNTIL JULY!!!!
Is this true? Are they in that short of supply? Because I have a real problem giving VZW my money simply to hold for 6 MONTHS!!!
Just hoping someone here that works for VZW can give me some sort of better idea as to when I can expect to see the phone that I paid for yesterday.....Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Who ever told you 6 months is on crack. If you ordered it in the store more than likely they gave you free 2 day shipping from fedex. Most of the time orders ship within a day or two from the day you order it. I have not he a custer wait more than a few days since Xmas for one. I have even overnighted some for customers with no problems. Rest assured you will have our Voyager in a few days.

Thank you very much. I feel much better about my purchase now knowing that I won't have to wait until July.
I ordered my Voyager yesterday. Since it was a Saturday, based on what you are saying, hopefully I will have it before Friday.

You should have it within a week or so. There is a notice on the website that says it could take 7 days. That's about it though and probably not that long.

My Voyager came in today and I love it. I'm just surprised that it only came with version 5 of the software. Apparently I have to take it and get it upgraded now

where do you live? what area? In the Carolinas area all orders plce yesterday or today will ship tomorrow. Should be 2 day shipping. So Wednesday at the earliest

I work in customer service and wondered myself how long it takes to get the Voyager since they can only be ordered thru DF. I placed an order for a customer and he paid for overnight shipping, looked at the account the next day and got the tracking number and saw that the phone was on its way.
So whoever told you that was just wrong, 2 days is when you should get it, keep in mind that fedex will not do any processing of orders or delivery on the weekends.
