There are many nay sayers about the Venus. However, there are many surprises that most people are not aware of. They tend to back down because of the feeling it is only "half touch" But the reality is about 85% of the operations or maybe even more can be handled by that half touch screen. I do almost every thing with touch. Also the Venus answers a lot of the complaints that people have about other phones. For example you can make a call with the slider down as long as they are in your contacts. The speaker also can be turned on when the slider is down.

Keep me updated on the memory. I'm concerned that the Venus will develop a delay in the operating system once the memory starts getting used up. The pre-production model that I played with had a delay in the sub menus when you were switching between them. Going from the Settings and Tools menu directly to the Get It Now menu or whatever.

I would imagine you would have that problem with any electronic item. Look how slow our computers get when we download all kinds of music and software programs. My wife has I Touch and that whole thing slowed the computer greatly. That is the problem you would have with the Venus is that it acts like a like a computer that is how the touch occurs. The when we download that is problem happen.
