Would the regulators let them? The combined company would have around 66 million customers, making it way larger than any other carrier.

Hmm... the more I think about it, the more it seems like Verizon is just trying to bid up the price to make things harder on Sprint in their bid to buy Nextel.

They probably know that most reasonable regulators would be against a VZW/Sprint merger. But then again, it IS the Bush administration, i.e. the 'we really don't believe in antitrust laws or stopping monopolies' guys, so literally anything is possible at this point.

Hee hee hee... yeah. Heck, even the prez's NAME is even annoying... because when you think about it, how can any guy truly be 'Anti-Bush'? 😉

He's still a 'tard, though. Even my hardcore conservative friends admit it. Ah well, four more years, and then onto President Schwarzenegger or Guiliani or McCain. Or maybe the Dems will finally field someone who can win. Never thought I'd miss Clinton.
