VZW - Slipping Bigtime

Has anyone noticed.. VZW is slipping bigtime..

First.. Has Customer Service been outsourced.. They are soooooo nice.... But, they don't even know and can't even explain the plans anymore.. And, if you have an issue, the reply is duhhhhh...

Have you noticed.. Voicemails sometimes aren't delivered for hours... Sometimes, the next day..

Have you noticed.. Dropped calls..

Have you noticed.. Send, but, no connect..

Have you noticed.. Voice quality has slipped... ATT now blows VZW away... VZW just blows..

Have you noticed.. VZW Sucks...

Actually, I haven't noticed any of those things. Maybe it's just your area.

Same here. Every experience has been great. Yesterday I ordered my Pearl and the CC Rep was fantastic. He understood the nits and nats of the plans and if he didn't know the answer to a question, he put me on hold for a minute and got the answer.

Personally, I don't care if CC is outsourced as long as the service level is maintained. So far, that's been my experience.

Customer service is not completely outsourced. The reason why there are SOME outsourced customer service centers is so VZW can add reps as the business needs in holiday seasons, and then go back down as needed without it affecting VZW's employees. If we didn't have outsource reps, can you imagine the hold time during Christmas??

I don't usually hear people complain about the outsource agents. The one's I've worked with have been nice, and they've been pretty good about calling VZW direct if you pose a question they can't answer or aren't sure. I'm in data support and I swear they should add info-line to my job description. I get calls all the time from the outsource agents to clarify this or check on that. If it's complex or requires follow up, everyone I know simply takes the call over to get you, our customer, taken care of. Considering the number of calls the outsource centers handle, they're not calling too often, but enough to show their commitment. At least they're all in the U.S. instead of Canada, India, Phillipines.... Oh wait, that was AT&T that was cr...

The people I see complain most about APAC reps are the employees that have to fix their mistakes. Most(as in 99/100) of the accounts I deal with where a person has had their account screwed up by phone support are from APAC reps doing idiotic things.

APAC reps dont get the level of training VZW employees do and dont have the requirements VZW does so they get alot of people that would never be hired by VZW.

If you are getting calls and talking to the APAC reps you are lucky, in my center we get the cold transfers from APAC reps that in some cases didnt even tell the caller they were going to be transfered and in many cases didnt need to be transfered.
