How much does it cost to transfer my phonebook into a new phone?
Ah speaking of which, now that I've already activated the replacement handset, will I still be able to transfer my pix from the defective one to my#@vzwpix.com? Or does that have to be activated in order to send? Argh...sounds like the latter...oh well. If there's a way, please let me know, cos I have a few hard-to-replace pix on there.
Thanks again.

If you had your phone replaced due to a manufacture defect then you can transfer the phone book for free. If the phone was replaced because you broke the original phone then it's a $10 fee. Pics cannot be xrd, however, If you had your phone replaced due to a manufacture defect you can download the same ring tone apps to the new phone and get those app charges credited----you don't have to purchase the same ringtone but the application it self from the same company you purchased from originally. Cust service can tell you what to redownload

There is a counter in the machine, and a pre-paid credits card that has to be reloaded onto the machine.
Many managers track this counter against sales logs to verify that they have the commisions for the transfer to pay the royalty.
So I guess what I am trying to say, is that this is in violation of policy, and grounds for termination, and that although we will bend over backwards for GOOD customers, we won't lose our job over it.
Also that machine takes more like 7 ...

You don't want to pay for a service in which the service you need is your fault?
There is also a program you can download in GIN called back up assistant only available on some handsets. You can see if ur phone has this program by going to vzw.com
