Where did you hear this? And when you say data? What do you mean specifically? Do you mean only pda/smartphone plans?

Yes pda and smart phone data plans (the 45 $ add on plan) and i read it on this site....many veizon reps have hinted a reduction in price, now i want someone to confirm it.

I see. That would be great. I just hope that the Voyager's data will be significantly less than $30

Guys...yes there is a price drop in data coming...i'm not saying exacts though but no it's not 30.00.

The Voyager pricing for data will be very competitive with something like the Sidekick.

There is a feature for consumer blackberry that looks like it will be 29.99 (or might have been 24.99) but no real details about it, just called a consumer blackberry plan and was for unlimited

The Blackberry plan is $24.99 as an add on to a qualifying voice plan. The data only plan is $29.99. These plans are data with no BB enterprise server option for corp email exchanges but still will give you sync with pop3 and imap4 accounts

Just spoke to VZW cust serv about the 30.00 data plan for BBs and the rep acted like I was from another planet. She told me the only 30.00 plan she knows about is capped at 10MB, not unlimited.

That is because the reduction in data prices is not in affect yet, plus many times in general verizon reps are clueless ( no offense to anyone)...just hang tight there are to many people hinting to this all over the net for it not to be true.

Its not a matter of being clueless, when you ask a question about something that is confidential information the rep has to pretend they dont know what you are talking about, its policy.

People talk about it on the forums because it is not likely to be traced back to them, but calls are monitored and people can lose their jobs for saying something about a change that hasnt been announced to the public.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but the data package prices are not changing. Just because there is some buzz on the net of it does not make it true.

The plan sets, that I have seen physically with my own 2 eyes, that are coming in November are pretty much the same except for a little change in data. I have mixed feelings about it but I can not comment further.

the 24.99 for 10mb and 44.99 'unlimited' are still there as well as the email plans. there was not a specific voyager or pearl data and voice plan.

sorry if this came out bad I am using my ipod touch to get around the firewall at work abusing the wifi from the building next door.

where in the training does it say anything about changes to the data packs? It does not say anything about it. changes are coming to AC plans. at least here in the midwest it does not say anything about it and what I was shown there was no changes to pda data packs besides the obvious change. just curious.

ipod touch plus wifi curse you firewalls

I hope you're not talking about the Voice Data bundles which have data at $30 because those have been out for a while now.

at the 2000 min single line plan you can combine data and voice and get the data part for 30. 99.99 + 30 = 129.99 for voice and data. the data part was contracted that way, but starting today you can change your plan and not change your contract unless there is some sort of special offer like bonus mins or credits.

the new plan in november will be making changes on non bundled pricing but everything I have seen says nothing about the $45 "unlimited" data changing to $30.
