Has anyone else noticed the increased number of dropped calls, and increased overall network errors on the verizon network in the NYC area.

I've notice no such problems. Perhaps it's your phone.

Typical Verizon Suit Answer... It's the phone... Buy a new one at full price... I switched phones several times... The network is still plagued with dropped calls... Why don't I drop VZW... Contract...

well...gee. VZW probably just doesn't count customers like you when they claim "fewer dropped calls".... what a shock.

OMG...what is with you people attacking someones response that is totally legit. It could in fact be their phone if someone in the same damn area isnt having problems. It could be a network problem that they are working on. Thats what troubleshooting is for. Lay off of the people that just come to this forum to get answers. No one wants to get into your petty bickering (well except me because I think its fun 😁 )

hey man, i think you misunderstood me. my response was clearly on HIS side. i wasn't attacking him. i was actually taking a jab at VZW for not being able to help this customer with his dropped calls... they claim to have fewer than anyone, but when i signed up for service it sucked. this guys got the same response i did when i complained about VZW's service. "sorry, we're the best". luckily I was in my return policy.

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat... Verizon just about NEVER drops a call for me. Seems to work great indoors too. Thank you VZW 😉

Btw, I'm in the SF/SJ Bay Area (Northern California) if anyone wants to know, coverage issues being regional in nature, after all.

I travel back and forth from Atlanta, NYC, Jersey, and Philly. I have dropped a call before, but not since I switched to Cingular.

I love that. Rationalizing one's cell phone service simply because it's THEIR cell phone service. I drove through Atlanta, NYC, Jersey and Philly for the better part of 8 months last year...and I got my fair share of dropped calls. When did you switch to Cingular? Yesterday?

I love that. Rationalizing one's cell phone service simply because it's THEIR cell phone service. Drama you rationalize VZW's service all of the time based on YOUR service. You're allowed to and no one else can??? I drove through Atlanta, NYC, Jersey and Philly for the better part of 8 months last year...and I got my fair share of dropped calls. When did you switch to Cingular? Yesterday? you also said your sister had a v600 and used it in NYC and then in a later thread you said that she used a nokia... please keep you
