Really? Have any proof of that? Besides something a rep said? Maybe on the LG website? Good luck finding it there. How about on any website...nope, couldn't find anything there either.

It's not an enV, but it's similar. I don't remember what it's called, but I've seen it. It has a sliding keyboard like a PPC, not a flip one like the enV. Looks pretty sweet for that market.

WOW, the phone isn't out yet, and the enV is better? What makes the enV better? I'm just asking because developers are still in the process on developing the apps. The only thing I know is the Seven email client. Still don't know if the phone will be EvDO or not. At a tech show, there was an EvDO LG QWERTY slider phone, and on Sprint's ADP site, the phone is 1X LG slider phone known as the LX-260. Just curious on why YOU think the enV is better, compared to a product that isn't out to the public.

VZW is the best network, overall. ๐Ÿ˜‰

But that doesn't mean they're the best *everywhere*. Just in more places than the other guys. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I dunno wom... you can say that, but the customer loyalty stats don't lie. All the other carriers would kill to have VZW's churn rates. Once ppl go Verizon, they usually don't go back.

And no, its not 'cuz of the commercials featuring the nerd in the jumpsuit. ๐Ÿ˜›

your right its not just the commercials . But its also a name. A reputation. They have no bad issues. How long has verizon been around. They are the new kid on the block so to speak. Yes I know they changed their name when they came together with a few bells. But I think you know what I mean. Sprint has been around for a long long time. And they have had some major issues but not on the wireless side. On the landline side. But people as they lack any form of brain can't distinguish between the two.

I refuse (don't have to know as they are out of the landline) use sprint for local. I will use a tin can before I went with them. But I didn't think twice to go with them for wireless back in 99.

So yes their are many reasons that verizon...

I honestly wish the networks really were 'pretty damn close' as you say. Then I'd have more options.

But where I live, frankly, it isn't close. VZW smokes everyone by a pretty wide margin. I know, I've tried the alternatives. So I have to stick with VZW, even when they piss me off.

I am defintly not saying that something like what you are in doesn't happne. Yes maybe 5% of the country will have only one option. But the rest have plenty of choices!

Were you live anyway just curious!

Three things that could be considered better that the Env has:

1) It's EVDO capable, the LX 260 is not (as of yet)

2) Slightly better camera on the Env (2.0 mp), only 1.3 on the LX 260 (again as of now)

3) The single screen on the LX 260 looks tiny for text or email.

Thanks.

You do realize that I'm gonna continue to make observations about other carriers, even though they're not the majority of my posts, right?

If it makes you feel better, I care a lot more about the 8350's release date and advance VX10000 info than anything Sprint is doing right now.

As do I. Observations and complaints are fine, I make them all the time. I just wish folks would use the general forum for stuff that is indirectly related to the forums they are in.

It's just much easier to use the general forum for links such as the ones you posted. That way, the merits of the link can be discussed rather than wasting time defending your "right" to post it here.

I personally don't even mind folks from this or other forums posting in the Sprint forum and voicing their opinions concerning Sprint. I don't see that as "trolling" provided they are on topic and not there just to say "you guys all suck".

Just some of my observations.

Sadly, the General forum is pretty much dead.

A decent day for them is getting a half-dozen posts. They have the occasional busy day, but other days, its like one or two posts, lol.

And frankly, posting anything that's even slightly negative about a carrier on its home forum will usually draw flames and cries of 'trolling', even if its politely presented and obviously not a troll post. You might not, but many others do.

It's the nature of Internet forums.

So, rather than engage in that mess, some folks prefer to discuss matters of interest with people they're familiar with. Ya dig?

The general forum is pretty dead, but usually if you have an interesting title to your thread, it will attract attention, at least that's been my experience.

You're right on with regards to posting negative threads in other carrier's forums. No matter how polite you are, some people aren't mature enough to take a little criticism.

Personally, I don't care what people say about wireless providers unless they attack the character or intelligence of those who might use them. That's definitely stepping across the line of decency.

Thanks again for being an upstanding guy. ๐Ÿ™‚

It's called a QWERTY keyboard. A lot of phones have it. And this wouldn't be the first LG phone on Sprint. Fusic anyone?

And Sprint still blows.
