is the rebate for Moto w385 through verizon or motorola?
I purchased a motorola w385 not at a verizon store. I am wondering if the 50$ rebate is just valid through verizon or if that same rebate is offered by Motorola itself...if so where do I get the rebate form Thank you.

to the best of my knowledge, you must purchase the w385 at a Verizon store to take advantage of the $50 mail-in rebate. You also need a copy of the sales receipt, the UPC codes on the box (white thing with bar codes on it) and a rebate form.

Correct, if its purchased from a 3rd party retailler such as wirefly or some of those other guys the rebates wont be honored.

The rebate is through verizon wireless. If the place you got the phone from didnt give you a rebate form to send in, it probably isnt eligible for the verizon wireless rebate.
The easy way to find out if a rebate is through the manufacturer or VZW is to look at the VZW.com site and look at the price of the phone, if it shows "online discount" its a VZW rebate, if it shows "mail in rebate" its a manufacturer rebate.
