This isn't going to help much because VZW would have won if it weren't for amp'd so they have their excuse not to change anything. 😕

Yeah, but the iPhone contribution to ATT's numbers will be much larger in Q3 than in Q2. So there is still hope.

VZW may have to change some things after all.

raise the 5GB data cap to 50GB or just take it off completely

and of course decrease all their data plans by $10

Yup, all of that, plus better prepay options, and easing up on the crippling of bluetooth (not just for the high end phones, but across the line).

And, as Sangy implied, at the low end, clear out all the crap phones that no one cares about (the audiovox-made 'CDM' phones, any kyoceras that come along), and stick with LG and Samsung at the low end (3400/3450, u340). 'Free phone' doesn't have to equal 'tragic' phone. ☚ī¸

At the high end, they obviously need some more 'wow' phones and PDAs... CDMA version...

Some analysts had forecast the iPhone's first-weekend sales would range from 250,000 to 700,000.

On Monday, CIBC World Markets analyst Ittai Kidron wrote that store checks show iPhone demand has been dropping significantly during the last 10 days.

"We have noticed decent inventories at stores, and thin demand at best. In fact, mos...
