VZW Reps still don't know about the New Upgrade Policy...

Walked into my local VZW corp store today, and asked two different reps about the new 'upgrade after 20 months on a 2-yr' upgrade policy. Both of them looked at me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them. 🤣

They both checked with a higher-up, and got the 411 pretty quickly though. They seemed really surprised that I was right and wasn't tryin' to play them. One guy even updated my upgrade date in the system, but I go to check my account online, and its still the same ol' upgrade date.

It's cool that VZW did it, but seems like they need to get the word out faster/better and have the changes take place more quickly online. Oh well, I ain't lookin' a gift horse in the chops. 😎

Hey Shock, I own 2 stores, and still have never heard about this policy except for here on phonescoop, go easy on the reps, as all we have to go by is what we are told, I consider myself "in the loop" more so the the average employee, so help us out and give us some slack, ok brother? 😉

Yea... this is weird. You would think they would have told us before the general public found out. Hell I found out about it here on phonescoop first (last week).

I just got the email today at work letting me know about it. Just seems odd.

Oh, I was nice to the reps. Just thought it was funny when they said, "I've never heard of that!" and were nice but were also kinda lookin' at me sideways like I was trying' to slide one by 'em. 😁

Guess it just shows that PhoneScoop is a good place to get info.

they have not changed all the date codes in cusotmer accounts yet so they are not really pushing this because it will be a pain in the a$$, also it looks like this is corp only for now because you need an overide to do it until the dates are fixed in system. Give it a few weeks and they will have the system updated and everyone will be on the same page, but as for now they have to get a managers exception to process them till the dates are switched in bill system

There still working on fixing the dates, some clarification if you have teh old NewE2 you can still get the 100$ credit in direct stores at the 20month mark. I had previously been missinformed but got some clarification from our regional operations manager on it today.
