VZW Reps still don't know about the New Upgrade Policy...
They both checked with a higher-up, and got the 411 pretty quickly though. They seemed really surprised that I was right and wasn't tryin' to play them. One guy even updated my upgrade date in the system, but I go to check my account online, and its still the same ol' upgrade date.
It's cool that VZW did it, but seems like they need to get the word out faster/better and have the changes take place more quickly online. Oh well, I ain't lookin' a gift horse in the chops. 😎
I just got the email today at work letting me know about it. Just seems odd.

Oh, I was nice to the reps. Just thought it was funny when they said, "I've never heard of that!" and were nice but were also kinda lookin' at me sideways like I was trying' to slide one by 'em. 😁
Guess it just shows that PhoneScoop is a good place to get info.
