i was wondering if verizon was going to be coming out with the treo 755p anytime soon and if they was going to be releasing a blackberry with a camera on it. i like the pearl and the curve from cingular but dont care too much about the blackberry phone 8830 that verizon just released. i was also wondering if verizon was going to be doing any other promotions. they just had on in my area where if you joined you would get 2000 bonus minutes. thanks for all the input 🙂

755p yes.... probably Sprint has exclusivity of launch and Verizon will get theirs later. Anywhere between 3-6 months after Sprint.

BB w/ Camera. Doubtful. Verizon's Data plans are expensive for the non-business user.

BB is a better OS then WinMo. You if you can deal with no camera, get a BB otherwise you may end up Soft reset/hard reset you handset alot and call CS to replace your phone unless you are willing to put up with WinMo quirks

yeah so freakin true! I wish blackberries had a touch screen though...but I know it would adversely affect battery life and size.

Chris: dump your 650 and get Windows Mobile. You will be happier!

I recommend the 6700 (or of course the i730 if you can still find one)

I like the Palm OS because it syncs with Mac's and it seems to be a little more stable than the windows version. I have a PC laptop for work, but I wouldnt want to be syncing all of my personal data onto it. I do however sync my 650 about once a week on my PowerBook.

The 6700 and i730 are both good phones, the 650 just fits my needs a little better.

Might check out WM6 when it comes to verizon...someday..lol

Soft resets? Not that often. Maybe on a Treo 700w you need to, but not on my Samsung i730. I've only had to reset it 2 times since I got it a month ago.

Personally, I hate the BlackBerry UI. I find it very boring and unintuitive.

Thats not true. Verizons unlimited backberry or data plan is 44.95. Cingular's unlimited blackberry or data plan is 44.99 a month. Both expensive in my opinion but Verizon is actually cheaper.
