Wow verizon..just because you didnt want to bitch down and give apple full control..your missing out. Think about it people..if the iphone came to verizon..it would have been cdma..not just that..it would have had to be evdo(3G) the only bad thing would have been no removable battery...
Proof...

yeah but the ROKR was bulky and ugly..look how pretty the iphone is...and its all about looks now..and this multitouch...could be the sh!t...
...
The battery kills it for me.
...
oh they disproved that rumor as well..the first beta testers of the phone said the battery life exceeded that of the actual stats...this phone looks like it could have been a winner...well it still will be but for at&t...what could have been on cdma instead your getting the i760 which to my knowledge isnt all that great or new..or innovative..looks like a ppc6800 in the stats dept.
...
I'm patiently wating for the 6800 to arrive.

Here is a list of phones I would buy before the iPhone, in order of importance to me. (just for fun)
[I already have a Samsung i730, so that's like the first one]
1. G'zone type V
2. LG 8700
3. Motorola i580
4. BlackBerry Pearl
5. Treo 700p
6. Motorola RIZR
7. Motorola E816
8. Cingular 3125
9. LG Chocolate
10. Apple iPhone
...
You'd by a chocolate?
...
Yeah man they are cool!!!11! ๐คฃ
...
I heard, even from VZW employees, that the Chocolate sucks.
...
The touch keys are the main problem. Other than that it's great.
...
No one touched on one feature that the iPhone doesn't have. It doesn't have 3G on it. So if it were available on VZW; would you want a phone that only utilizes 1X, instead of EVDO? If I were someone that wanted to use Vcast service, I'd want a 3G phone of some sort. I already have a Vcast phone (Samsung a930), but don't use Vcast at the moment, primarily due to money. But the iPhone is not my type of phone at all. I wouldn't go with at&t due to customer service & in some markets, at&t has network problems. I don't experience problems with VZW for where I travel. So for now, I'm staying with VZW. Apple can keep their iPhone.

im sure that if it went to verizon..cdma it would have been evdo...secondly who needs 3g when u have wifi....

People don't always have a wi-fi connection when they're out and about. ๐

As much as I'd like the iPhone to be CDMA, I'm glad VZW stuck to their guns and didn't let Apple run all over them. Apple wanted to use VZW's network and wanted full control. WOW! ๐

what suks in my opinion is that no one has even remotely come up with an answer for the iphone...no phone being released in the next 2 quarters even compares in innovation... the Samsung ultra f-700 would have been a great answer...but then again all phones outside the us are sooooo much better...but it seems as if all the other carriers are just making little itty bitty upgrades to their already old and bulky phones...
...
Are you mad because Sprint doesn't have it?
...

I agree. Apple seems to make things easier on their OS, and UI. It's the manufactures and marketers fault for falling behind. Apple has a huge cult that remain loyal. LG, Samung, etc. need to step their game up in the U.S.
...
I want to buy an iMac or MacBook. They are just way to expensive.
...
hell yeah..sprint should have gotten it..you know sprint would have done it..Sprint loves innovation..and looking at the sales now..they need a boost...!
...
They need a resurrection!!
...
Why would anyone buy an i phone if they are giving them away for free?

baller, we're talking about tha Apple iPhone. The phone that's on soon to be on at&t's network. Not even an new service agreement will get a rebate on this phone. Yuou may be looking on the web, along with the free PS3. ๐คจ

Don't think so ๐คฃ

yeah you go ahead and put your email addy in that box...just wait..30 min..and see how much spam u have...
...
Yeah, it's there. You go through about 100 surveys and have to sign up for "2 sponsored offers" So you gotta sign up for something that in the end is gonna end up costing you $700 before you complete the enrollment requirement.
No, I didn't put my info in the box, I made it up!
...
The iMac and MacBook aren't as expensive as you think. You could always purchase a cheaper refurbished model, which is what I did (20" iMac) last summer, and I haven't had one problem with it. It comes with a one-year warranty and can be extended to three with the procare plan.
I do wish that VZW was getting the iPhone, but my fanboydom for Apple isn't enough for me to switch to AT&T. Everybody I know has VZW, and I haven't had one problem with the coverage.
...
Plus the iPhone isn't a real PDA. And I will NEVER go back to a regular phone again (at least not with a PDA, like get a Gzone in addition to my i730.)
...
I'm taking a wait and see on the iPhone...$600 clams for a "cool" phone that is limited in it's capabilities?
No mistakes about it, Apple has the cool factor. The proble is Cingular/at&t does not. Lets see waht happens...the first phone has not been sold yet!
...
Thats true and all but look at the sidekick..tmobile suks but the sidekick is selling like hott cakes..no its not 600 buks..but then again its not that cool either...and yes the iphone is not a real pda...but neither is the LG Prada phone..and thats also selling like hott cakes....
