In my opinion, neither the Gzone Type V or Type S are ugly, just big.
And if I wanted a rugged handset and had Sprint I might consider the 7050. But this is the VERIZON FORUM.

It may be butt ugly, but it's water/shock proof! You don't know how many custies I have that would pay full price for a phone they didn't have to worry about in a rain storm.
