Question for Verizon agents

i had a custie call me who lives in CA, her father lives in PA, she told me she was going to add him to her acct, i work for cingular so i dont know if thats possible, but i assumed it wasnt cause they're two different markets. am i right about that or will there be no problems with that setup?

are you saying they want a CA phone number and a PA phone number on the same account? it wouldnt matter where they live otherwise.....

i think she wanted her dad to have a local number in his area, so yeah i believe she does want that but i didnt ask her

cingular corporate stores can I'm pretty sure but us agents I know at least us can't access any #s out of our market

If she is going to add him as a line then he needs to have the asme local prefix as she does to share minutes. If she doesn't want to share and get him a number that is local to his area then that can happen too. Just can't share the minutes. She can activate a local number and send it to him then he can get it changed to his area when he gets the phone...Just no share plan option...

My family is set up on the same plan and share minutes. They live in three different area codes in PA.

Same markets can share fam plans. I can put a Richmond, VA number, A Washington DC & a Norfolk, VA number on the same fam plan. # different area codes, same market (WBV).
