Then why does LG Motorola Nokia Samsung make phones that are cooler for the other networks!! Does verizon inform them that they only want the most boring phones in the universe? Mission Accomplished because I couldn't find anything in their store that was remotely hip!

bah!!!!! all of you who are whining about so-called 'cool phones' need to grow up. Truely, verizons phone have been lame in the past but theyve put a ton of effort into improving that. Examples: LG8600, Chocolate(I admit-any colour besides black looks tacky), Samsung 970,Moto Q black, samsung U340, samsung A930, LG enV are all cool devices.

The real issue is that you are likely used to the flash-in-the-pan designs of the GSM carriers' phones. Nokia and sonyericsson are scandinavian companies with decidedly european tastes in style, thus you see artsy-looking devices such as the sonyericsson W810, sammy sync, nokia n-series, nokia 7370, 7380, and moto Rizr.
