New Version of Easyedge?

has anyone heard of a new version of easyedge? what about real wap access? ev-do? streaming media?

yeah...it's allready on the V3M's....none of the others tho...upgrade for those likely sometime next year....

what is it like and when is the projected time frame for network wide ev-do? And any one know about real wap coming soon?

I wouldn't hold my breath, its a multi-billion dollar upgrade i don't expect to see it for a few years, other then Milwaukee who got lucky to be a guinea pig, the demographic in that area must have been right. obviously going to start in areas that are like similar to Milwaukee then onward to the smaller slower markets. the market i work in most people are still using less then 500 min a month.. i don't expect to use it for a few years at best

I don't think USCC will launch real WAP because they have it in their head that nWeb is far superior. Gotta keep it all going through the easyedge so they can charge for everything.

There's a new format for viewing EasyEdge, and it's active on all the new Razrs, Krzrs and Slvers. It's kinda cool looking and doesn't have anything to do with evdo, just a new formatting, from what I can tell. They are going to upgrade across the board, from what we were told on email today.

from what I was told and seen so far it's only on the V3M and supposedly it's only going to be for the EVDO abled phones
