I'm pretty sure I got an email the other day that had in quotes: "US Cellular is not offereing any new plans or changing phone prices to my knowlege" I told my AE that I wouldn't lie to a customer knowingly but that I wouldn't offer any information either. I think that the corporate idiots truly believe that your statement is less damaging than "something is coming, I'm just not allowed to say what, and I haven't really been given enough information to talk intelligently about it."

so if anyone comes up who wants to know why they should stay with us our reply is "us cellular has nothing new even in the works, what you see is what you get."

heh, i just said "US cellular has no new plans comming out." just now and this girl got all mad saying "US Celluilar is the worst company ever." took the brochure, and left.

Well, haven't you been getting the same emails? It's a stupid thing to say. They just don't want us sandbagging and having people come back later when they can sign up now. Well, I have sold almost twice our quota for activations for this quarter, I don't need to sell any more. If this new plan isn't better or at least as good, then I'm going to need those sales next month.

haha, you guys are funny, honestly i worked for the company/cult/empire who thinks they are above the law, which is why im not there anymore, to much, corporate back stabbing in the north west, might be different in the other areas but the WA/OR market is drama, back stabbing, managers recording other managers, private conversations trying to use it against each other, its freaking ridiculous, and for every 10 lines we sell we lose 9 subscribers, hah,

Anyways if you work for the company and hate them, good, its a job, you get paid, you sell a service, i personally still use the service, but will never have anything good to say about the cult.

its going to be a lot better and a lot easier to sell phones, but commission is not going to be as much, but my boss wont lower his commission payouts because he is not good with change.

I'm not so sure that anything is really going to be that much better. I've heard that they're bringing back free nights/weekends but the minutes themselves are almost dividing in half, so it all depends on what you're looking for I guess.

But yeah, I also heard commissions are going to suck. They're stacking everything on verts but the only problem there is that they took away all of our verts to sell except text messaging and that worthless piece of crap they call Easyedge.

Is this still what you're hearing? And are the plans supposed to be rolling out later this month?
