QUESTION ABOUT NEW PHONES!!!

ok can somebody please tell me why u.s. cellular takes forever 2 put out phones while other companies just pull em out of there %$#@ like nothing????? i mean i love this company and have been with them since prime co but man u go in there and the phone selection sucks. takes forever 2 test a phone and get it out there. are we like the payless of the phone industry lol why are we lacking in the good old extra feature dept with internet and etc .... 🙂

I have a way to solve this problem. Start paying the "testers" by the number of phones released instead of by the hour !! That'll shake 'em up a little!!

lol, if it were only that easy, dj we have a long testing period, sometimes it seems to long but we like to try to launch phones that work well.. actually its part of the reason we have been the #1 rated carrier so many years. Alls I can ask is patience I know with some of you thats asking alot but having the cool phone that doesnt work is not exactly providing the ideal customer experience we want for everyone.

dude forget about the (I.C.E) i just want some new phones to sell and some cool ones i can deliver I.C.E better with some new and cool phones. U.S. cellular is not delivering the I.C.E because our customers want the cool phones. one more thing CUSTOMERS EXPECT IT AND WE DELIEVER what ever happened to that. this company is a joke 🤣 🤣 🤣

Well is the ICE really being delivered by providing our customers with phones that works half-a$$. I dont think so. From your point ( i assume a sales person) I can see the frustration hard to sell phones when people are waiting for the "cool" phone. I see it day in day out. How about this sell the service not the phone. A cool phone is only good when it works. The motorola 710 is a great phone, so is the nokia 6019, the motorola 266....etc. I Personally would not recommend an lg but they look nice. Customers expect it and we do deliver, we deliver good service with working phone. not some phone that works "some of the time" like certain other carriers I have seen. If you dont like the phone line up go somewhere else.....and if you work for...

i never said that i dont provide the ice im just voiceing my opion and i do believe that i can do that!! one other thing though with the whole phone thing why is the nokia 6255 sitting at the NDC waiting for uscc to tell us we can order it??? can you answer that one for me??

Actually I can, it is having mms problems with motorolas once the software is fixed for that its good to go. 😎

relax tough guy i am not an employee. im a customer 🙂 well if would be nice if ya had m ore phones 2 choose from and way more options. just like any other carrier phones will not work and also have issues as well. so relax homie and have a drink or something

I agree our phone selection is terrible right now but I hear it way to often....and believe me I have enough drinks for most of us.... 😎

Usually whiskey and coke. If it's hot outside I just might have a Miller Lite. When the V323 or CDMA Razr comes out I just might have a bottle of Dom Perignon. 😉

I am a bad person on whiskey so i stick with Brand'y mostly. But when our new phones come out I will buy a nice bottle of wine and not remember teh rest of the night... 😛

I WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. THIS IS THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED OR EVEN BEEN ALLOWED TO GIVE. THE REASON WE DO NOT HAVE A VARIETY OF NEW, COOL, TRENDY PHONES IS BECAUSE WE THOUROUGHLY TEST EACH PHONE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE THE BEST QUALITY. AS A SALES ASSOCIATE DO YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH COMPLAINTS BECAUSE THE PHONE WAS NOT TESTED PROPERLY AND AS A CUSTOMER DO YOU WANT TO HAVE THE HASTLE OF COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR PHONE JUST BECAUSE THE COMPANY DID'T DO THEIR JOB OF TESTING THE PHONE. SO STOP WHINING!!

Maybe they need to test sooner, so we are not stuck with out dated phones. Or maybe USCC get the phone cheaper because they are out dated.

USCC GETS THE PHONE THE SAME TIME EVERYBODY ELSE DOES WE AGAIN JUST THOURUOGHLY TEST EACH PHONE TO MAKE SURE ITS THE BEST POSSIBLE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE THE BIGGEST NOR ARE WE TRYING TO BE THE BIGGEST, OUR MAIN GOAL IS TO BE THE BEST CARRIER FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. OUR PHONES HAVE THE SAME FUNCTIONS AS OUR COMPETITORS WE JUST TEST THE PHONES PROPERLY INSTEAD OF HAVING OUR CUSTOMERS AS TEST SUBJECTS..... AGAIN I ASK WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE A TRENDY PHONE THAT DOESN'T WORK OR A FUNCTIONAL PHONE THAT COULD SOMETIMES BE SOMEWHAT OUT DATED?

yea no $#@!# the phones are still pricey even with a 2 year. we are always gettin outdated phones and lackin on all the features out there!!!

What's funny is....USCC just did a lot of trading...maybe they are waiting to put out new phones to wait to see who they merge with so software matches new carrier...hmmmmm...something to think about...

USCC IS NOT MERGING WITH ANYBODY TO MY KNOWLEDGE I KNOW WE HAVE ROUGHLY 15 NEW PHONES COMMING OUT BY THE END OF 05.

Don't hold your breath...they just traded all their Idaho markets to Altell...and closed the Oregon Customer Care Center as of November 19th...
