It would work just fine on USCC network. Will have problems with the Data part, as that will not work. But, like most people say, you can't just walk into a USCC store and ask them to turn it on, as they will not. You can call customer care and they will do it, as they sadly never have a clue what is going on. For me, I would just wait for the crackberry to come in. Not that long now...

Actually customer service would NOT activate this ph if someone called in and requested it be activated. If not a ph that has previously been active on that particular line or a replacement ph from signal the customer won't have to go to retail...and as you said would not be activated. Also, in case you suggest to "say" it's a signal replacement, once we enter the esn the computer will tell us it's not a uscc ph therefore not able to be activated. obviously it's you who doesn't have a clue what's going on.

And we can also track the status of signal replacement phones, so if we see if someone didn't get a signal replacement and they say they did, we would just redirect them to retail.

Nice try though. 😁

there is no way that a GSM phone will work on USCC's netowrk. it is completely different technology. another carrier that uses CDMA technology unlocked would work yes. but not GSM.
