Selection of phones?
I work at an Agent location in Maine, and I have many customers who are coming over from AT&T, and one thing they notice is that we do not have a very wide selection of phones. It seems to be a common point from former AT&T, Sprint and verizon customers. I mean, when you walk into a Sprint or AT&T store, they have something like 50 phones to choose from. Why don't we have more than the mere 10 phones we carry?
Don't get me wrong, by only having this many phones, it sometimes makes my job easier, but sometimes it is harder to sell becasue of the low selection. well for one, Samsung won't sell to us because we're too small, so that in itself limits our phone options, especially compared to Verizon.
Another is that Nokia (until very recently) hasn't put much for CDMA, that should be changing in the next few months
Besides that... I think corporate sees that we have at least 1 phone for everyone's needs. We have plenty of camera phones, free phones, cheap flip phones with speakers. The people who complain about the selection are probably more concerned with the phone's style rather than function- because if you look at the functions of the phones, we do have something for almost everyone

I totally agree with you. we do have a phone for everyone. the customers that come in and look just for style are far a few between, but we do get them occassionally. they are not a big prblem.
