When is USC getting the nokia 6255i... and does anyone know if we are getting the navy one that is shown on thier website or a silver version that i have also seen?

We're SUPPOSED to get it in about 2 weeks, but we'll see. 🙄 As for the color... I don't know. I saw one but it was a few months ago and I don't remember what color it was

Hey Everybody, this phone sounds very attractive with a lot of amenities. Just want to say be careful when waiting for certain phones to come out. I purchased the Motorola V710 and when I read the side of the box, I saw that it was a MP3 Player and it also stores a memory card for additional storage.
U S Cellular decided to turn off some of the features of the phone and made sure that you would not be able to use the features. My guess is that customers could have found a way to use the MP# player in a way to sample and use ringtones and US Cellular wants to control that with Easyedge (The most expensive service that does not keep up with the latest ringtones.)
While I understand this decision, I think its a travesty considering I paid...

Uscc is getting the one that is silver with navy blue on the front(Like the one in the phonescoop photo) I have seen both in person at a conference, I think if Verizon gets this phone, they will get the all silver one. The blue one looks better in my opinion though. 😉

i think you are not paying attention. I don’t know if you watch TV, but Nokia has done extensive advertising on the 6255, and they have said that it will not be released until summer of 2005. So if a customer asks that is what I tell them. Nokia is just trying to get the hype up through the country, and it is working and I think for how expensive the phone will probably be (about the same as the 710 probably) it will sell really well with those Nokia fanatics. So it will probably be with USCC around the same time as other companies. It is not just USCC

Too bad and so sad, but this phone will not be released with uscc until at least 6/10 to 6/20.
