Thats funny!!! I ported three people over from AT&T today because they had no "bars" inside their house. They have friends who have US Cellular and their phones work everywhere so they switched. I also saved them $80 a month because rollover is the worst deal in wireless. Kinda dumb when sone in the midwest cant use their phone in their house but it would work in Germany. BTW no one here would ever say that Sprint sets the standard as far as network quality goes. Their phones dont even work at the SPrint Center in Kansas City. SO before you come here and start throwing taglines around just take a look at the latest Nielson rating on wireless carriers. I love that the guy who has never even tried USC and has heard one bad interaction from one random person on the INTERNET about the company that is by far overshadowed by the superior customer service (which our awards will prove) as well as reception is bashing this company. Hey, here's an idea, before you start claiming ATT has better reception maybe you should actually try the other side. We're not Sprint and we don't have Sprint's coverage, and why are you in the USC forum claiming better service when you came from Sprint and have never even tried USC?

CDMA is far superior. I have both USCellular and AT&T. I carry both at all times. My USCellular phone gets reception in most buildings and my basement. My Iphone is great for the data but the gsm signal dies out a bit when i enter buildings. Both are good in my basement though.

It's unfortunate your friend is just as uninformed. More service in one small spot out of the great big service maps that each carrier has doesnt mean overall more service. If you want better reception its gonna be through USC or VZ. If you wanna try and preach ATT's "phenomenal" service try it in the ATT forum where they might actually belive it. I'm guessing most of the people on this forum already have USC and know that they have superior overall service and aren't buying what you tryin to sell here.

On a global basis lol look at the bottem of every one of their commercials.. US Cellular is the best in every single one of their markets and also on a "global Basis" we have a roaming agreement with verizon.. Plus CDMA is a way better technoligy than GSM haha try getting service in a building or basement with ATT. Oh and i forgot THEIR CUST SERVICE SUCKS we are something better and dont come on our forum with ur sales pitch cuz every one of our employees are trained and have way more knowledge than anyone from att so please dont hate around here

I have AT&T, the more bars in more places is taken on a global perspective, not on a national perspective. Hands down, Verizon has more coverage in America than AT&T.

Because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work for anybody else... In alot of rural areas, ATT simply does not work. Does that mean ATT fails? No. They are strong in alot of their markets. So is US Cellular. ATT is also weak in some of their markets. Any carrier will have weak spots...
So again, congrats that you found service that works for you... but don't keep repeating the same mantra because it just makes you look uneducated and ignorant.

Wow. That's such a lame comment. I have never had USC before either, but I can tell you right now that AT&T is probably the worst cell phone company there is. Aside from Nextel. I currently have AT&T because of the iPhone, and this is the worst service I have ever had in my life!! I drop calls left and right, and if I don't, my calls are constantly distorted. When I had Verizon before, my calls NEVER dropped. They were crystal clear. You know why? Because CDMA technology is superior to GSM technology in the United States. And especially in rural areas. AT&T's claim to have the best coverage is a global claim. So of course they would, but it's NOT EVEN THEIRS!!!! If they only talked about theirs, they would have no grounds to speak!!! AT&T is...
