Question about getting out of Contract?

beyondmygreatness

Sep 4, 2008, 9:57 PM
First of all I am Beyondmygrestness's brother, I'm just using his account to ask this question.

I just resigned my USCC contract(I had no choice I needed a new phone, and I was available for an upgrade) Well, I got the LG UX-300, well in my contract it says we offer a 30 day gaurantee where we can return the product, and get out of the contract without the ETF. Does the apply to me? I'm not pleased with this phone/service. So since I re-signed can I take my phone back and get out of the contract?

ofcourse, all u have to do is return the equipment and port out, HOWEVER, us cellular lets u resign and get a phone at a discount 18months into your 24 month contract, so if u ever only at your 18 month mark, u would still have a contract for the end of your term.

so go check or call customer service to see if u canceled if u still had a old contract.

I believe I was at the 19 month mark when I re-signed because I had no choice, I'm not satisfied with it, So I thought the old contract was no longer valid since I signed a new one?? So I can't take my phone back, and get out of the contract and that I'm still bonded to the old contract?

your old contract will be reinstated, but if you want to terminate, the etf is now prorated, so just pay it out and move on

What do u mean prorated? I know prorated means divided, but will they cut part of it or what?
