Current customer mailer
Any gotten one of the mailers sent to current customer almost out of contract? It has 4 cards in it. On the out side it says "Inside: more reasons to renew today" "open now offer ends 7/31/08". Funny thing the plans are the standard plans and the phones are the same price a new customer would pay. $99.95 for the pearl after $100 mail in rebate, the same rebate a new customer would get!
Another spot on the add reads: "To one of our favorite customers,

Many companies charge higher phone prices to renewing customers than to new cutomers, US Cellular is advertising that they don't.
And shocker!! You have to pay more money to get more minutes and features! I'm stunned by the audacity.
What will phones go up to in August? Not sure, but if you asked that in June during the BAGA promotion, the answer is $10. With rising gas prices and business costs, inflation is simply a way of life that Americans are going to have to adjust to for the forseeable future.

Att, sprint and tmobile give same price if you sign up again, vzw gives up to an add $100 off over what a new customer gets.
Your stunned by my audacity; how about the audacity of usc trying to make it sound like they are doing the customer a favor in theses adds?

After a few complaints from custys about not getting a "better" deal for returning and staying with USCC... we as an agent are offering discounts for accessories.. Nothing we can do on handset pricing.. but it works.

Looks like they are inviting customers into retail locations to take advantage of 25% off accessories and discover a company all over again that truly cares about its customers...
The new plans give you more choices also.
