I went in to U.S. Cellular yesterday and I asked the girl if they had the BB Curve in and she said "No it isn't out yet. It won't be here for a couple more weeks." and I said it is out and it is on their website already. And she said she can't wait until it is out but the only thing is she had SPRINT! 😲 in my mind I was like "Does she think I am retarded? She has a white Krzr from Sprint." Then I noticed everyone that was working in there had Sprint.

it prob was an agent not a corp store.... weird to have another carier and to brag about it. i have seen people under contracts of a cariertr take a job with someone else and keep it until out of contract.....on the down low though....kinda stupid of her

This has been my local agent for about 4 years and she has been working there since then. I think she is staying with Sprint. But I don't care people always have a reason why they have the carrier they do. But, I want my BB curve. 😁

not all agents are the same. The agent I work for has a strong relationship (in a good way) with the retail here. It does suck for that location to be so stupid and not sell a BBerry.. Guess they're not into making money.. Take your business to another location.. Like here in Des Moines.. I'll help you.. and give awesome customer service! Not to mention.. I know the products I sell; and very proud to work for an agent of US Cellular! 😁

We are more empowered usually working for more commission based structures allowing for a more independent work environment. If you choose to be lazy you will not be good at the job. You will come across these people that seam to be agents that just float by...the majority are actually career minded people who care about their job and customers..

PS I'm not saying retail is bad just more like a regular "retail" worker and agents are more independent and therefore the wider spectrum of agent relationships. I am glad to hear that you have a great relationship with your agent I try each day ...

If you are an agent, what is your phone number and I will call you. I am tired of corporate retail employees bashing agents. We are all suppose to be a team working for the same company. Agents in my area sell more phones than corporate stores. Without agents, US Cellular would not have the success that they currently have.

WOW you are all over blowing a simple comment about why someone whould have a sprint phone and work at US Cell. I said she was prob and agent not corp, not because she did anything wrong but it was more likely that she was not corp walking around with a sprint phone personally. This wouldnt be allowed at the corp location. (walking around with it not owning)
Again i am an agent and would never try to make the agent/corp relationship worse then it is already. I hate when i get false statements or bad remarks by corp stores about my stores. I wish we all would be the same....

Well I got my BB Curve 😁 it is great but when I went to the closest agent they only got two in so I was mad because they didn't have any but I was like I have to have this phone so I drove a little out of my way to go get one and when I got it it took over 45 minutes because the aim program was messing up but I didn't care I was getting my BB. But I think they maybe need to get rid of the aim system.
P.S. I am not trying to start anything I don't work for U.S. Cellular or anything I just think it was a little screwy.

US Cellular needs to put cares (corp system) for agents...AIM only works 85% of the time correctly and crashes all the time creating long cues at OP. Oh well we will see if they "empower" their agents like they do employee's or will they continue to be a hypocrite about the agent relationship.
