Question About Forced Roam.

Can I force my phone to roam on USCC if i decide to go ahead with their service. Lets say if i dont get a signal in my apartment, can I force it to roam to verizon or sprint until i get a signal?

I dont know if you can force it to roam or not, but I do know US Cellular has a 50% rule. So that could change your mind to force it to roam.

Their phones only have HOME or STANDARD SCAN. You can't force them to roam

For those who can edit the PRL, they can make changes to allow roaming. But for some markets, USCC doesn't want anyone roaming in-market. Wisconsin & most of Illinois are areas they don't want anyone roaming on Verizon. They do allow roaming on Sprint for Chicago.

That is not true. USCC and VZW are not allowed to have a roaming agreement in the Chicago area per the FCC rules dating back to the VZW buyout and divestiture of the PrimeCo network. In the Central and Western Illinois markets, VZW is the preferred roaming partner.
