BlackBerry VS Moto Q Debate
I like them both. But, it depends on what you want it for. If it's more for home/personal use, I would recommend the Moto Q. If it's more for heavy e-mail or small business use, I would recommend the Blackberry.
I have a Blackberry at work, and a Moto Q from US Cell for my personal phone. I like them both, except that the Blackberry has AT&T service, which I haven't had good luck with.
The Q has a familiar Windows interface as well, and a good media player. The price point is much better than the Blackberry too, and the data plan is $15 less. Data on US Cell is a little slow, as they haven't upgraded to high speed, but I have been satisfied with the internet access on the Q.

I love my 8830. More dependable, much better looking than the Q and a better performer too.
Better memory features, email is much more reliable on BB than Q as far as UI. Media player works GREAT.
The Q looks like an antique when put side by side. 8830 is sleeker, sexier and has better quality looks by far.
Active GPS with the BB without having to get a 3rd party app...
Windows interface is SLOW.

Yeah I agree, I just get a lot of customers that still go with the Q.... I think the biggest reason is that they really don't want a true smart phone, the just want a cell phone with a qwerty keyboard that looks cool.. True professionals and people that know what they are buying will for sure buy the 8830 over the Q... The email is fantastic, the media player is great... The interface is way more user friendly... (windows is junk!) you don't have to reset it every day.... The PEARL BALL IS AWESOME!, and you know what honestly I never use a camera on a cell phone ( I have a 7.2 mp sony that we carry around everywhere, and cannon rebel for serious stuff).... Hands down the blackberry is an awesome phone... I've had the treos, (700p and 755...

And just as a side note.... I love US Cellular but my bb is with sprint.... The only reason I did that was A. I got a hooked up deal, and B. I want EVDO.... But heres the kicker, my blackberry is great and fast when I'm out and about, but when I'm at home, I can not receive a call, and can barely check my email... So I always use my US Cellular phone to make phone calls.... I just wish we would get EVDO in my market sooner...
