If you are not eligible to renew and get new equipment, you will not be able to get a new phone. Are you in WV? You must complete 20 months of your 24 month agreement before you will be eligible to renew and get new equipment at the discounted price. You can always pay full retail price or you can touch base with a retail rep in your area to keep an eye out for preowned / used equipment, will be 25%-50% off of full retail price.

No i'm from right around the West Virginia border in Maryland. There is definately no way i'll be paying full price for another phone because i just payed $220 dollars for a Strobe in May and it was DEFINATELY not a good investment! It has the worst camera i have ever seen in a phone and i don't recommend anyone in getting it. RAZR and KRZR's are the best phones available and by the way i heard that the KRZR is going to start going down in price until eventually it is discontinued to make way for the RAZR2. Is this true?

Almost every phone goes down in price before it is discontinued, regardless of what will come in new. Your best bet is to keep checking in on the pricing.

Also, no duh the strobe sucks! It's Kyocera! Who would pay full retail price for that?

And no, you will not get a discounted price on a new phone without signing a contract. As far as any company goes, why would they discount a brand new phone when they would be losing money to do that?!?!

I'm sorry that you don't like your phone, but that's why you have 30 days to return your equipment.

Pricing does go down significantly as time passes, just as Gemini mentioned.

Seriously your best bet is to look for used / preowned equipment. Call a corporate retail location in your area and have an associate keep an eye for a phone.

One of my friends just recently purchased a used KRZR for $154. If you can't wait until you're eligible to renew that's really your only option.
