Hey Agents,

Most of you have seen me on here in the past but I want to ask a broad question to you all:

WHAT POS SOFTWARE DO YOU USE AND WHY?

I have 6 locations and currently use teletracker. It's ok but it has its limitations and I want to see what else is out there...

Thanks!

we use something called WorkWireless and it seems to do fairly well, although we've never used anything else so I have nothing to compare it with

Check out the above link, we use Cellular Manager and have had it up and running since December of 2005. It is very user friendly, VERY secure (with SSL 1024-bit encryption), and is extremely customizable.

King,

Thanks. This is also one we are considering and have contacted. Why do you like it so much? What are some of the features you enjoy about it? Some of your dislikes?

Please feel free to PM me this info. I appreciate your time.

*Secure (with SSL 1024-bit encryption)Forced 128-bit encryption — Every click, every menu, every action is 100% encrypted with the same high security encryption ciphers used by banks and other financial institutions.

*Everything has a report - If you need to know, you can find out anything that has happened about everyone, anytime, and anywhere they access your POS.

*Web Based - I can access anything anywhere I have Internet access; if someone calls me and needs something changed or administered asap, I can log in from home and I don't have to drive in to work.

*For USCC, it integrates with AIM for credit checks and account setup, this way you don't need to type in the customer information in both AIM and your POS.

King,

Thank you very much for your time and effort with that response!

We are leaning toward this software but it has a few things missing that we would like to have. Nothing is perfect I suppose.

If I may ask, what is it that you are looking for?

Well ultimately I would like to have the ability to do auto replenishment orders with our vendors based on real time auto inventory checks.

I would also like to have a built in fully customizable repair/loaner phone tracking system built in. I am currently having some develop a system like that for me, but if I found a software that integrated in with out POS that would be nicer than developing a proprietary system. Though if I went that route I would probably sell licenses for it after it was developed.

There are other things that I would like as well.

i do indeed work for ABS........

we were told that the switch was because the new program allows us to integrate alot of things such as scheduling and our timeclock into one system. other than the fact that its like learning to ride a bike all over again, its not bad. we just have to figure out where stuff is and get in the routine like we had with Workwireless

Not sure you want another opinion, but here it is...I use WorkWireless and have for over a year....it is the 3rd system I have used and one thing I can tell you is it is way easier than anything else I have looked at.

Training was a snap for my reps...

IQ is starting to get much easier to use..the only thing that sucks is that you have to input all ur verts to get paid!..which makes someone elses job up above us much easier.

I guess you dont hanlde the commission rec. side of things... We had to manualy process all the chargebacks in IQ by do8ing returns. Needles to say thats not the case anymore since I got Work's...

I use ManageMore. It's OK... could be better, but it could be worse.

Anybody else use ManageMore? If so, are you going to stick with it or are you thinking about switching to a different program?
