Listening to a call before it's answered

I met a girl that has what appeared to be a Nokia 6010 from T Mobile that had a very strange feature. She was able to hear people calling her before she answered the phone. For example if I was calling her, while the phone rings if I said something like "pick up" she is able to hear me when all I hear is the ringing sound. Has anyone else heard of this? I'd like to have this feature on my phone.

Scams

Be careful when looking for that good deal. This site is a scam site. When you ask a question about fraud, they try and turn it around on you like it's your fault they are being questioned. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. And pass the word around. Apparently this isn't this guys first site. And he has been up for almost a year already.

When are NEW, COOL phones going to be AVAILABLE???

Could anybody tell me when a decent, cool, new phone will be available from T-Mobile. I might have to switch carriers if nothing is due out soon. All the options or lack there of are BORING and out dated. Any insider information would be great.

Is there an alternative to this?

I am seeing an increase in the number of negative posts between representitives fighting back and forth about who/what is better. Even worse is this is not limited to competitors, but to reps in the SAME company. It is not a matter of who is better, because the point is NO ONE CARES. No one wants to read this crap and if you have nothing better to do, that is my problem and I do not want to see your stupidity on here, nor does anyone else. We're all humans and most of those involved in this obnoxious crap, when it comes down to it, we're all working for capitalists out to to make a buck with little regard for their employees, I work for a wireless service provider myself. Besides that, we all deal with the same sort of customers and may...

V600 TZones

Does anyone know why the browser on the V600 takes so much time to go 'back' a page? It has to connect again and then refresh the previous page rather than immediately returning to it. Is it becuase this is not such an advance WAP browser or is there a setting that I am missing? Thanks.

Upgrade ?

My contract is up soon and I was wondering if tmobile has an upgrade program. Do they give a discount for signing up for a new contract? I'm not looking for the a630 for free, although that would be VERY NICE. I just wanted to see if they give any deals or not. Thanks.

phone announcement

I know people have been expecting this and mentioning, but I just saw an email saying the Moto V330 and Nokia 3220 will be available first week of April. V330 isn't listed on phonescoop but apparently has the v300's set with video capture, bluetooth and I have no idea if its tri or quad band.

I know they've been trying to burn the stock of v300 with promotions which apparently is working since were now looking at April.

Oh, and no lynching me if this turns out to be wrong, but I'm pretty sure its copacetic.

Does anyone know if the Nokia and Sidekick chargers are identical?

I have a Nokia 6620 (Cingular, but similar to your 6600) and a Sidekick II.

The plugs are the same, I was wondering if the voltage, etc. were identical and if it might be safe to use my Sidekick charger w/ the Nokia.

T-mobile

😢 I am fan of t-mobile and when i signed up with them i signed because they seem to be technologically sound in 2003 and a company on the move. They have not changed anything major since 03. I see cingular with all the new technology and i left them for T-mobile. What is t-mobile going to do. I think they better come up with something besides Caller-tunes, which are doing horrible. I really do not want to leave this company.I would be willing to pay a few extra dollars for good technology and phones not Cingular prices because they are not geared to the people any more.I really hope t-mobile gives the competition a fight rather than just lack in the far distance. I really fell that t-mobile is losing its class and falling to the local mi...

T-Mobile Software in locked phones

Does anyone know whether the software that T-Mobile installs in its phones makes the phones more likely to hold a weak signal than an unlocked phone of the same brand?

A Slap At The Cingular/T-Mobile Network Dispute...

So I became really bored today & dug around the phonescoop.com. Look what I found in the news archives:

Date Posted: May 25, 2004, 9:27 AM
Source: Cingular / T-Mobile

Cingular Wireless today announced it would end its network infrastructure joint venture with T-Mobile USA in New York, California and Nevada. Cingular will sell the California and Nevada network and certain accompanying spectrum to T-Mobile USA for approximately $2.5 billion. Cingular will also receive 10MHz of spectrum from T-Mobile in the New York area. The transaction is contingent on Cingular’s acquisition of AT&T Wireless, and federal approvals. Both Cingular and T-Mobile customers will be unaffected by the deal.

Now I wonder why ...
