I was told by a rep at a local tmobile store that it was coming out late july early august, anyone know anything about this???
...
do u know what the price is gonna be???
...
Nobody knows that yet.
...
Monday (7/11/05)...that's what i was told by a T-mobile Cust.Service rep. 😕 🙄
...
but no price listing, crap i wanna know cuz if its not as cheap as cingular 199.99 then im gonna switch companies cuz tmobile is not impressing me with their phones, ive been with them/ voice stream for at least 5 years
...
Yeah, I am also getting concerned. I am a new customer that switched from Verizon due to coverage issues in my local area, but Verizon keeps coming out with decent phones lately. T-Mobile has Verizon beat on plan pricing, but I might switch back if I don't see higher-end new phones in the next several months.
I will be patient and research the options, but I'm not too impressed by the phone selection right now...
...
I heard it will be 249.99, maybe some rebate, MAYBE
...
Why would anyone want to buy it at that price?
...
The TMobile RAZR v3 is just showing up for sale online now, so the price will probably drop by the end of the month. If you get it from A1Wireless.com (http://www.a1wireless.com) instead of the T-Mobile site, you can get free shipping and free accessories.
...
It has been on the T-Mobile website since Monday.
...
A1 Wireless (http://www.a1wireless.com) is advertising rebates on the $200 price, so its essentially free RAZr.
😁
...
That's cool and all, but it's only for new activations, not us lucky people who have been with T-Mobile for a few years. Not that I am complaining. T-Mobile has been great.
...
In most cases it counts as "new activation" if you sign a new contract. So if you are with T-Mobile now, and you recommit for an additional year,
I think you can still get the free phone either from T-Mobile directly or through http://www.a1wireless.com or some of their affiliates. (They are the ones I know that have this price, but I'm sure there are others if you look).
Best to call and ask.

That's just flat-out wrong in every way. And regarding those deals, hardly anybody ever gets paid those rebates. It's a total scam. You have to wait four months or more to even send for it, and if you make ANY changes on your account they will probably deny it. I'll bet they only pay 10% of those.
...
. . . or less! 😁
I think it's funny when sales reps complain about not being able to compete with online prices. Whenever I have a customer come in with a printout of prices from a1wireless or wirefly, I have them take a seat at my desk, bring up the website, and have them read through the terms on the rebate.
That usually does it, but if it doesn't, then I'll offer to beat the 'initial' price and give them accessories (which those places almost always charge for). I realize that you can't do that being a direct dealer, but just the same - those sites are not the 'good' deal that they proclaim to be.
...
But of course, those customers always want to believe that Amazon or A1 or whoever just wants to give them a great deal... I talked to someone yesterday about this, and they figured out that A1 was a scam, but they still figured that Amazon.com was a bunch of good guys, just because of the name recognition! People are really gullible. 🤣
