SunCom people should just move here since the Old SunCom is disappearing and taking on all the characteristics of AT&T. Yes...ties at work, store meetings, opening stores when there is no traffic (late night, holidays and Sunday).

If an ATTWS/Cingular customer was not paying their bill, at what moth would Cingular report them to the credit bureaus ????

had a rediculous conversation with my TL...

had a conversation with my TL today. She asked me why I wasn't doing the call closing and why I didn't care about my stats (PAR). Said well the survery is stupid and demeaning and im not doing it. We are asking people to rate us when we can't help them because cingular took away any chance of us helping customers do what they are calling in for. The stats are useless that are being collected and don't prove anything.

I said if we got paid more than $9 per hour, we would be open more to things we otherwise disagree with like the survery. I said basically that money talks and she disagreed with me and said they would employee issues no matter how much they are paid. I said u are telling me that if were paid 15 or ever $20 per hour, ...

SIlly Question,,

This may be a silly question, but i have been getting differnt answers from everyone,,,
If a cust calls in to change their blue plan, do they in fact lose all promos, such at N&W, m2m, etc?
I have done it, but those promos just carried onto the new plan, and then someone told me yeah they show up, but they will not work (??)
Does anyone know the right answer?

ATTWS /CINGULAR Frequency Band

Can anyone tell me what GSM Frequency Band is used in Pittsburgh, PA ?? Would I be able to use a 900/1800/1900 phone in Pittsburgh ??

My phone is an ATT Nokia 3595.

I want to buy a phone off of E-Bay and want to know if I can buy either 850 or 900.

Im in training for WEX orange.....no more fix my bill because you broke it this month...or explaining that the national gsm plan 39.99 that showed up on your bill is your dam rate plan that you signed up for and that I can certainly credit the 39.99 back to you but then I will have to charge you for EVERY minute that you have used in the bill cycle

halifax in que til 1130 every night or later...

had a chat with an MO last night and asked him about what's happening at this center. He said 60 full time people were fired this week because when they had thursday sat sun off and had to work friday, they called in sick. I said well you'd think the scheduling dept. would try to fix and or stop doing that to people since it's pretty rediculous.

Also 300 GSM and TDMA reps were taken off the floor for Org. wex dept that just started. We don't have anywhere to sit now when we start work and wex is taking up a whole section out of only 4? The con is bitting off more than they can chew now.

I'm at the Martinsville Beuc, Startek office.

We have been getting unlim overtime. We have blue tiger, beuc, and csa changes. We have been staying in que from morning till late at night all week. Its been rough as hell...Doing upwards of 100 calls a day. All week I have been working 9am-2am.

red deer convergys...

Just thought I'd let ya'll know that the red deer convergys is a f*cking joke, which you probably already all know. Im soooo glad I don't work there anymore. I found out on Friday that they broke the rules with the Alberta Labor Standards. I'll call the AB gov't tomorrow to report them and to get the proper compensation that I deserve. Sucks to have to still work there for all you, I moved to Calgary and make double now than what I used to... Im soooooooo glad they fired me, never had a happier day in my entire life!!

think about it

I on the whole love my job. I like helping people and helping them understand something that they didnt before

but when all i get is the anger and hate that people are able to spew thrown at me I respond in kind with anger

If people would take a second to think that I am a real person on the line not a computer voice and program I think that they would treat us all different. If I was to walk into their house and treat them like they treat me they would at best beat the tar out of me (and they would be in their right to do so)

Im talking common sense and goodwill...If your pi$$ off at a bill you have gotten dont call me up and tell me to fix the bleeping thing..or tell me to hurry up while Im explaining your options to you. My job...
