I was wondering if there have been any OS upgrades for the Storm 2. The reason I ask is because regardless of what is coming down the pipeline I still like the Storm 2 and am considering getting it as my upgrade which I am elegible for as of 3/15

So I clicked on the Amazon link here and was nerding about the site, decided to read the reviews and found they were very heavy on freezing issues with this phone; to be fair, almost all of the reviews were in Dec but I'm wondering if this issue has been fixed or was it just an abberation on one or two phones. I'm thinking of upgrading my son to this phone, he's using a Pearl now. In the store this was fun to play with.

Hey guys I am on my mom's family plan and am now eligible for a NE2 upgrade. Gonna get the HTC ERIS. I know i have to get the 29.99 data plan but was wondering if it would extend the contracts of everyone on the family plan for two years or just me and my mom. I know this is a stupid question, but just want to be sure.

Looks like VZW is trying to make more money off a product that is free to BlackBerry users with any data plan. If the Nexus One is the right phone when its released. I was reading up on it and found that you have to store apps on the internal memory and cannot add a Micro SD Card for apps.

VZ people waiting with nothing but rumors. I personally can't see why anyone with ****ty ATT service like itis around here would want it but at least they have a choice. It's not subsidized but I am sure some will buy it that can get service. Come on VZ!

So, i have been thinking about rooting my droid but was wondering has anybody on this forum ever rooted the moto droid or droid eris? Plus when is 2.1 coming to the droid? Also have any of you reps come across someone who tried to root their droid but turned it into a brick?

I've been a Verizon employee for almost seven years. I've been in sales, and within the last year, moved to management. I've even relocated for the company. I've held the line, dug the trenches, and stuck my neck out on more occasions than I should have. For a time, I breathed the red Verizon air and loved it. I've also been treated like complete dirt, both by the system and by individuals.

Does anybody have any info of the new NFL Mobile that will launch April 22nd. Is there any chance it will be free with Data pkg like when Sprint was offering it. If not what might the cost be? Any input anybody could offer would be gratefully appreciated thanks.

Hey guys im not sure if this happened to anyone else who has this phone now for a bit. But i ran into a issue with it where i turned the phone off and turned it back on and my wallpaper and my display fonts got reset and now it gives me a hard time logging into some web sites like facebook and this wrestling board i go to. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I brought it to Verizon and they told me there is a new software version out for it because LG caught on to the issue. But the thing that doesn't make sense is that the over the air software update he said if i do it that way instead of bringing it to the store i can lose all my data and such. So its like whats the point of having the OTA update if it can lose info?? Makes no sens...

Usually I know a lot about phone but I guess I can ask for help sometimes.

I'm suppose to be adding my sister onto my contract, and I can't choose between a multimedia phone $9.99 (data) , and a smartphone $29.99 (data).

How easy is it to use the 25MB that comes with the $9.99 plan? I ask this because I have a Motorola Droid, and I have already used 100MB so far this month. But I am on the unlimited data plan.

If it's easy to use the 25MB, I minus well get her a better phone (PDA), instead of getting the $29.99 on a multimedia phone.

Any ideas?
