No prob!

PS--I picked up a storm, and I gotta be honest, I kinda love this phone. Not nearly as bad with some of the new software updates.

Although, I will DEFINITELY be picking up the 9630 on day 1.

Yeah im running .99 now.

My only major complaint is the random reboots and it seems that BBM will occasionally freeze the phone.

Other than that, its pretty rock solid.

Does this BB have WiFi?

some test units did, no official word on whether it will be put into the final build.

Not a huge deal for me, but I know a lot of people care about it.

If it did have WiFi, that would be great and I would consider returning to Verizon knowing that there would be a phone as good as the Bold.

Thanks.

Better than all your dropped call on ATT? 🤣 Priceless!

Actually AT&T works in several places that Verizon did not. I can live with a dropped call in an area where a call was not an option with Verizon.

right that's why you would consider coming back 🙄 if this bb has wifi, give us a break.

The only reason I would not consider coming back is because of Morons like you. The service works great and the phone is the best availabe for business and such. I really do get coverage in spots in Connecticut and SoCal that I did not get with VZW.

🙂 Ah gotcha so you would rather have zero coverage in certain places while using Verizon!- instead of dropped calls on att. LOL I can't say I blame you.

There is no need to gloat. You are giving Verizon Wireless a bad name. I hope you are just a fan and not an employee. Even a Blackberry user on a $39.99 450 plan is giving VZW $840 yearly assuming no other features. Why would you antagonize a potential return customer? When customers call in to disconnect we don't tell them "Get the hell out!" We express our disappointment and extend a welcome to come back if it does not work out with their new provider. Why would anyone come back with someone like you giving them a hard time about leaving in the first place. That is childish. Bottom line: I don't like people screwing with my STI.

I agree also, his only arguement is "does it have wifi?" But according to his posts, he is so happy with AT&T and his Bold, but willing to come back to VZW. It makes a whole lot of sense, doesn't it?

Actually, my brother and a few others are going to switch because it is actually his work and where he lives that AT&T has service and Verizon does not, unless he stands out side his back porch. Which is not an option in the winter. So there are a few more. As AT&T gets better, VZW should think about doing something about their BS. And include the features we need and want. But, for many it's too little too late. Verizon has screwed us many times with disabling features...remember the class action law suit with the Motorolo phone and the bluetooth issue...don't remember the model, but they had to pay a bunch of money...they disable the obex...

Verizon has far better coverage in the US then any other service. Now your being annoying. o read about all teh network outages and crap on AT&T. Verizon is by far the most reliable network, and when I went to CT i had better service then my mom who use to have AT&T. The bluetooth law suite is old news from like 2004 or 05. We do not lock our bluetooth, and people who think that are idiots, or in your case, "Moorons" which I have no heard use of that word sense the 90's. Anyway, its not features you need, its something you want and Verizon gave back to you. Get over it.

Are you a Verizon employee? If you are, I would suggest your boss tell not to defend your company because you do not sound very intelligent. If you are not an employee, I wonder why you are such a Verizon activist. Is it like being on a team or something, are you a Verizon cheerleader?

I will stick with what works and that is where my loyalty lies. Neither Verizon nor AT&T has done anything for me personally and the BB Bold is by far the best device for my needs and only AT&T offers it and it works in places that I frequent. The occasional dropped call is within tolerable acceptance for this device.

No one on here sounds intelligent. If they did, they probably wouldn't be here. I'll be the first to admit it.

Please understand, when you state that something is crippled or disabled in such a blanketed way, you will receive similar responses. If you provide concise reasons, proof, or information backing up your points, you're likely to attract those with quantifiable responses (though I cannot guarantee it).

I work for the company and will be one of the first to admit it's faults. Despite this, I believe that you are assuming much in your argument, and I respectfully disagree with many of your points. Still, I respect your decision to move to another carrier and phone based on your individual needs.

Great post. I do not think the 9630 will have the Wi-Fi he seems to want, but that does not mean we have to berate him as some others have done. I think it is time to put this subject to bed. He chose AT&T and it works for him. That's good enough for me.

Agreed. I come to this site to talk about relevant issues. I'm about 2000 miles away from him - I can't do or say anything to change his mind. He did what he wanted to do. I don't have to agree with it. I don't have to keep pushing the matter, amusing or not.

that website is BS!

There are two glaring mistakes I found right away. the 9630 runs 4.7 NOT 4.6 like the bold and curve 8900. Also, the camera is 3.2MP, NOT 1.9MP like the website stated. Check your sources before you post brotha!

Until I see a spec sheet from RIM or verizon, all other websites will be ignored.

That 1.9MP camera made me pause as well. I hope it is 3.2 I want it for the Rev.A alone but I would not be willing to fork out too much dough when I can get the Storm BOGO and have Rev. A in each. But I realy, really want a keyboard.
