Has anyone heard anything about this? Iv heard about a possible $100 price drop on the phone! Plus its on the test man site as that!!

Does anyone have any idea why this might be? If an upgraded one is going to be coming out already or what?

Its prolly just a price drop...maybe they did it cuz graduation is coming up and a lot of kids get phones for college as H.S. grad gifts.

As far as I know there is NO new Env is the works for the next few months.

Ya I know I called, I have 30 days and I just got the phone. So if its on testman Im assuming itll be dropped soon. If not Ill play it safe and return it next week and just get it when it does come to that price.

How do you see this pricing on testman? I tried zipcode 99999 but it doesn't work anymore, and one other thread mentioned using 22222 as the zip, and that shows the current pricing.

Can you post a link and the zipcode to use?

Well honestly, it always seems to be different. Sometimes I use 99999 and it works, sometimes it doesnt. Also sometimes the zip code for my area works. Only thing is certain phones dont come up, such as the 9400 and the U640. But I used my zip code on the testman and thats where I saw this.

I noticed the price drop early this week (mail-in rebate of $100), but it isn't up on the testman site when I use my own zip code now. I can however get it for $99 if I use my company discount, so perhaps they'll repost the discount to everybody shortly.

Can anyone validate this price? I still see the phone as $299 w/ a $100 rebate? How are you getting to the $99 amount?

It was on Testman when I saw it thursday. Sometimes they only keep it up for a day or so. I havent seen it up there again.

Who knows. But that was the same thing as the txt msging plans? The new unlimited ones were only up for a day.

I'm not a Verizon employee, but get a corporate discount through my employer. It shows the 2-year price as $99. My NE2 comes up in June, so it's definitely in the running at that price.

What do you mean? So its already showing for you at the $99 price, plus in june you will be up for your $100 off? Makin it free?

Normally the prices you see (the discounted price) end up being made public?

Yup, it's already showing up for me at $99. I'm sure it will be changing to that price some time soon for everybody. The only thing is whether it will be an instant $100 off or a mail-in rebate as what I saw recently.
