Cricket's online chat SUCKS!

i found out that cricket's online chat is for assisting new customers, and new activations only, but that is not what angers me.

what makes me angry is how rude the online chat reps are. i can understand that they cannot assist current customers, but there is no need to be rude about it.

i broke my phone, and i went online to look at their new phones, and the chat box pops up, and it asks if i need help shopping. i clicked yes, and the drop down menu had the option for purchasing question. since i had purchasing questions, i chose that.

the rep answered none of my questions, just told me to go to the store, and then he ended the chat, but not before telling me that he did not design the website, and that the online prices are for...

Just Wondering...

I've been looking at what the other cell phone providers offer as far as cell phones. I was just wondering why hasn't Cricket gotten a Blackberry or Blackberry type phone out for sale? Seems to me it's the phone to have since almost every cell phone company has atleast one lol. I do admit I like the look of a Blackberry, it seems pretty easy to use with having the keyboard right there in a bar-style type design instead of having to slide the phone up (like the Hint) or over (like the Samsung Messnegers). I probably would buy a Blackberry (or Blackberry look-a-like) if Cricket would offer one. I currently have the Hint, which I love, and I'm not looking to buy another one for quite a while, but I was just wondering that...

Pic Texting Problem Please Help!!

Okay, I’m about at my wits end with this problem. I recently bought a Motorola Hint, I’ve had the phone before, but I dropped it and it wouldn’t charge after that. So I bought an Evoke (I really wanted to see what it was like) and it’s an okay phone, never had any problems with it. But I paid a lot of money for that phone, and it can’t send or receive picture texts, you have to do it through e-mail or Picasa and I got tired of that. So I bought the Hint again, and now I’m having problems sending and receiving picture texts. It will sit there saying “Connecting…â €, and do nothing, then it will say the message failed. At first when I would check the message details, it would just tell me it failed...

How is Cricket gonna respond to Boost's new $50 Nationwide plan?

Looks like they don't stand a chance. Nationwide, unlimited everything (including PTT) for only $50/month.

System wide voicemail failure?

My fiancee is a new Cricket customer. When we attempt to access her voicemail, we get a recording "You have reached an invalid number." Unfortunately, a caller receives the same recording if she doesn't answer their call.

Called 1-800-Cricket. Was told this was a system-wide problem and we're not the only ones experiencing it. Was told we would receive a text message when voicemail was restored.

So, Cricket users, is your voicemail down? Or, was the rep who was talking to me full of it?

If the person was full of it, how should I proceed to resolve the problem? And, I guess, in general what is the best way to get a US-based, and more importantly *knowledgeable* person on the phone when we have issues?

Thanks!

Adding data feature for flashed phone?

Activated an HTC PPC 6800 Mogul (was Sprint. Reflashed with Cricket ROM) on Cricket this weekend. Phone and SMS are working fine (after I programmed and activated it myself - store rep couldn't). Problem is I am stuck with a $35 basic plan for the moment as the rep in store informed me she cannot add web/MMS on a flashed phone (reason being these features would not work as it is a non-Cricket handset). She did tell me, however, that my plan could be changed over the phone with customer service. Seeing as this was an agent location and the rep seemed somewhat new at this (I used to work for Cingular and Alltel) I decided to sort it out later with customer service.

On the phone Customer service verifies these features cannot be added to acc...

Boooooo!

I dont have Cricket and I never will. Everyone I know that uses Cricket complains about dropped calls and their crappy ass phones. I keep hearing about how they are expanding coverage but why don't they do something about the crappy ass towers they use. I was told they work off of Sprints old towers and they cant even receive pix from Sprint customers. Sprint sux too. Thats why I have Verizon now. 😁

Serious??

OMG...some of you people are so ignorant... Every month you ask about "why is my bill so high." The only way your bill can be high is if you are late or you change something on your account.. take responsibility people!!! And don't take your white trash frustrations out of the reps...it's not their fault!!
