I Would Slap A Muzzle On This Guy

So this guy ANNOUNCES that VZW will be launching LTE handsets in February. How many customers who would have upgraded or activated new service in November or December will now wait until then?

If LTE plans are more lucrative, he may be announcing it at the right time in hopes people will hold off to get a more expensive plan within a few months.

"A more expensive plan" It's a shame they have very slow speeds and charge so much... and to think they are going to charge even more haha.

Azeron, in comparison to what? Compared to the other "3G" services it is just as good with MUCH better coverage. Sprint seems to have the fastest speed on THEIR network from what I have seen. Pay TOO much is relative to your needs. I hear this all of the time out of people that Verizon is expensive. Well compared to some bottom feeder services it is. You get what you pay for. Each person just has to decide for themselves if they need or want to pay for Verizon if they NEED the coverage and reliability. If Sprint works for them and they can get it cheaper without having roaming issues, then go with Sprint. If it's T Mob that fits you then by all means use them.

Verizon can hang its hat on its Rev A providing more coverage than its competitors no question. But being just as fast? No way. If you work for Verizon...don't dilute the message: Faster is not better. If you get into a sprint with the competition...you lose. Know what you are and sell that to the masses.

I do work for Verizon, and have always had them prior to working for them. It all comes down to the region you are in and what your travel patterns are. Verizon fits me and the majority of peoples needs, but there are other providers that service the needs of many. That is the wonderful world of capitalism.

I'm not sure why you even commented to my original response then. I have Verizon, too. I keep my device with them because of the coverage...not the speed. Rev A is slower than HSDPA, HSPA+, Wi-Max but Verizon's Rev A while slower is more ubiquitous. I'll take slightly slower with more area covered any day but it IS slower. That's a fact.

I must have misunderstood the original comment. I don't live where att has 3g so I don't have a base for them, but in comparison to Sprint we are slower but not by a noticible difference. What type of speeds do you see with Verizon? What State do you live in and what Big City are you closest to. I am always curious to see speeds across the country to compare. We have two locations in my city that I can see 2-4 MB dowmload on Verizon. It is quite strange.
