Hopefully...

Hopefully the phones won't need to turn a switch or enable LTE on the phone for it to pick up signal. The way like the Epic 4G and EVO work having to enable/disable 4G and wait to pick up signal is annoying.
But that's the beauty of the toggle. You can turn it on or off at will. Something I very much appreciate.

If it is battery hungry like I suspect it will be, the toggle switch will be a requirement. CDMA phones don't get the best of battery life as is unless you like screwing around with the poll time.
Would you prefer a software switch that required opening up menus in the phone to disable it?

Battery power will be an issue with any device flipping bits at the rate these things will. Being able to enable/disable the LTE quickly is a feature, no...

I Would Slap A Muzzle On This Guy

So this guy ANNOUNCES that VZW will be launching LTE handsets in February. How many customers who would have upgraded or activated new service in November or December will now wait until then?
