Interesting how you interpret what Nokia actually said.. when it seems Apple took the opposite approach

Worldwide (as in outside the US), Nokia is a very popular manufacturer.

A lot of the models that don't make it stateside have some pretty nice looking designs.

The first one that comes to mind is the N97

I've used Samsung, Motorola and Nokia devices. I use them on T-Mobile US and AT&T. Nokia devices rarely drop my call.

Motorola (I'm talking ~2006 time frame i.e. the V635, V18😎 dropped the most calls, which is why my experience with their devices is dated.

Samsung (x497, D900, G600, Katalyst, t509, t519, Behold) was better than Motorola but not as good as Nokia. (N97, N75, 5800 XM, 6133, N900, 5230 Nuron, etc.)

Nokia appears to resolve antenna conflict with an application of thickness to the design. 😉

I was recently in an area with spotty T-Mobile coverage (hills in Monterey, CA.) My 5800, Nuron and N900 all lost signal going from 2 bars of 3G to nothing and then recovering to 2 bard of 2G. But it had nothing to do with...
